As a Legal Advisor, your role is to serve as the company's primary legal safeguard, balancing risk mitigation with business growth.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Provide expert legal counsel to management and internal teams to ensure all operations remain within legal boundaries.
- Contract & Documentation: Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of legal contracts and corporate policies.
- Compliance & Governance: Navigate complex regulatory landscapes to ensure the company meets all licensing and statutory requirements.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks to protect the company’s interests and reputation.
- Dispute Resolution: Manage legal disputes and act as a liaison between the company and government authorities or external legal bodies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all business operations comply with laws & regulations.
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations.
- Assist in license applications and regulatory approvals.
- Develop internal legal policies and guidelines.
- Monitor and update management on legal changes.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in corporate or business law.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian laws & regulations.
- Excellent contract negotiation & drafting skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in licensing & regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with corporate governance & risk management.
- Ability to liaise with government agencies.
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
