- This service assists employers in registering their companies with the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO/SOCSO) in Malaysia. It ensures compliance with the Employees' Social Security Act 1969 and the Employment Insurance System Act 2017, which mandate all employers to contribute to social security for eligible employees.

Details
- All employers hiring at least one employee are required to register. Applies to all industries and business types, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations.

Documents Required:
Business Registration Certificate (SSM Form 9, 24, and 49, or equivalent).
Copy of the employer's IC or passport.
Employee details for contribution purposes. - Application Process:
Submission can be done online via PERKESO's ASSIST Portal or at the nearest PERKESO office.
An employer code will be issued upon successful registration. - Contribution Rate:
Based on the employee’s monthly wages, with rates specified by PERKESO guidelines.
Employers and employees both contribute a percentage of wages to the Employment Injury and Invalidity Scheme and the Employment Insurance System (EIS).
Important Rules
- Employers must register within 30 days of hiring the first employee.
- Monthly contributions must be submitted to PERKESO by the 15th of the following month.
- Employers are required to notify PERKESO of any changes, such as employee resignation, salary changes, or company status updates.
Compound & Punishment

Fine up to RM10,000 or imprisonment up to 2 years, or both, under Section 94 of the Employees' Social Security Act 1969.
- Penalty of 6% interest per annum on the outstanding contribution.
- Legal action may be initiated by PERKESO.
