  • The MP Kulai Petak Bermusim is a seasonal parking space rental service provided by the Kulai City Council (Majlis Perbandaran Kulai, MP Kulai). This service allows businesses to reserve specific parking bays for their operational needs, ensuring convenient access for customers and staff. Reserved bays are marked with yellow lines, distinguishing them from regular public parking spaces, which are marked with white lines.

Details

  • Application Process:
    • Applications must be submitted through the application by selecting the "Lot Rental" function.
    • Applicants need to provide:
      • A valid MP Kulai business permit.
      • A valid Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) business registration.
      • Three photographs showing the location of the parking bay.
    • Approved applicants must make payment within 14 days from the approval date.
    • Applications are subject to approval based on permitted business categories.
  • Fees:
    • The rental fee is RM150.00 per bay per month.
    • Payments can be made for 6, 9, or 12 months.
    • A mandatory signboard purchase costs RM60.00 per bay for new applications.
  • Usage Period:
    • Reserved bays can be used from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday to Thursday.
    • Outside these hours, the bays are open for public use.
  • Responsibilities of Lessees:
    • Ensure the reserved bay is used solely for parking or the purpose approved by MP Kulai.
    • Do not obstruct others from using the bay outside the permitted hours.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the reserved bay.

Important Rules

  • Timely Payment:
    • Payments must be made within the stipulated time to avoid cancellation.
  • Compliance with Regulations:
    • Adhere to all MP Kulai terms and conditions regarding the use of reserved parking bays.
  • Prohibited Actions:
    • Do not construct any structures, such as ramps, that encroach onto the road.
    • Do not cover existing drains; ensure water flow is unobstructed.
    • Do not alter the function or gradient of sidewalks in front of premises.
  • Cancellation of Approval:
    • MP Kulai reserves the right to cancel the reservation for reasons including non-payment, violation of terms, or considerations of safety and traffic congestion.

  • Non-Payment:
    • Failure to pay the rental fee by the specified date may result in cancellation of the reservation.
  • Violation of Terms:
    • Non-compliance with MP Kulai's terms and conditions can lead to immediate termination of the reservation.
  • Unauthorized Modifications:
    • Constructing unauthorized structures or altering public property may result in penalties under Section 39 of the Street, Drainage and Building Act
  • Misuse of Reserved Bays:
    • Using the reserved bay for purposes other than those approved can lead to fines and revocation of the reservation.
